How we ranked the Steal an Egg pets
A pet tier list for Steal an Egg is tricky, because egg weight swings income by a factor of a thousand. A massive golden Gargoyle out-earns a small Kitsune, so ranking purely by rarity would be misleading. We ranked on two things, in this order:
- Income ceiling. What does a good, realistic copy make? We use the readings in our pet database and ignore creator-panel eggs that are far larger than anything a normal server spawns.
- Availability. Can you actually get one this week? A pet that only came from a retired event, or needs a 0.5% roll on a Robux egg, drops a little even if its numbers are huge.
Speed requirements matter too. The Unicorn is weaker than the Kitsune, but it sits behind a 700M sign instead of 2.5B, so for most players it's the first divine they can steal at all.
S+ tier: the pen-definers
Spirit World Guardian sits alone at the top. It isn't stolen; it's fused from two Royal Sky Whales and two Celestial Sun Lions inside the Enchanted Tree. With Golden + Scrambled + Enchanted, a 2-million-kg copy hit $2.2 trillion per second, which roughly matched an entire strong account on its own.
The Royal Sky Whale is the strongest divine you can steal, and the whale is the ingredient that decides how good the Guardian turns out. The lion barely matters. That makes every Sky Whale spawn a server-wide event.
Aetherion rounds out the tier. In a side-by-side test with large eggs it beat World Burner and Archangel in every mutation slot (710B rainbow vs 500B and 227B).
S tier: top divines
World Burner and Archangel come from the same biome and, at equal size, earned the same in one test (19.6T each with admin-sized eggs). Pick whichever you can get. One player in our sources waited about ten days for an Archangel to spawn at all, so don't skip either one hoping for the other.
Night Flame is the best value per hour of farming. It's the Titan Temple divine, so it needs 7B speed instead of 20B, and large copies reach $42B unmutated.
Skeletal Sabertooth and Octophant have enormous numbers but sit behind luck walls: a 1%-then-0.5% Robux egg and an event pity respectively. If you own one, it's S. If you don't, don't chase it.
Kitsune is the people's divine: beautiful, iconic and weaker than everything from later biomes. It's still S because rainbow Kitsunes hit $48B and the speed wall is lower.
A tier: the backbone
The Unicorn is weak for a divine (around $1B for a small one) but it's the first divine most players can realistically take. A huge Unicorn with three mutations still hit $32B.
The Celestial Sun Lion is the best eternal, a Wisp quest item and fusion fuel, so you want two even if they're small. Skeleton Horse and Gorilla King both scale brutally with size: 1-million-kg-plus Skeleton Horses exist, and a 19M kg Gorilla King made $12B. Massive Gargoyles are the surprise A-tier secret.
B, C and D tiers
B tier is the mid-game: Lunar Dragon (the classic first eternal), Oni Tiger (handed out in mini games, $600M+ silver), Stag (the server-hop favourite) and Mosasaurus (your anchor until Cosmic). Pegasus, Equinox and Mutant Shark fill out the 1–10B range.
C tier pets are stepping stones you'll replace: Lava Dragon, Kraken, Yeti and King Snake. They're great when you get them and sold a few biomes later. The Strawberry Elephant lands here too. It's famous and fun, but a pack pull capped around $230M doesn't hold a pen past the mid-game.
D tier is pack filler, the Tung Tungs and Bananitas earning under $1K a second, plus Forest and Lake commons once they're in your index.
Mutation tier list
Rainbow is S on raw numbers (about 3.5x). Enchanted is S on reliability: it's a guaranteed 100% roll that stacks on top of everything else. Scrambled and Golden are A, at about 2.75x and 2.5x. Scrambled is the better one to own because you choose which egg gets it. Fractured and Monstrous are B because they're hard to farm. Silver is C at about 1.2x: nice statue look, small numbers.
Weapon tier list
Weapons don't earn money, but they decide who walks home with the divine when five people grab for it. The Hammer is S, with a slow swing and enormous knockback. The Titan Temple Axe is A and launches players across the map. Biome bat skins from completed indexes are B; each one hits harder than the last. The default bat is D. Players shrug it off, and one creator spent a whole race wondering why their hits didn't register.
When this tier list changes
Steal an Egg updates almost every week, usually around the Saturday Admin Abuse. A new biome generally brings a new divine that jumps straight into S tier. Multiplier tweaks can reshuffle the mutation tiers too. We revisit this page after each update and note the date at the top.
