The hardest pet in the game

The Skeletal Sabertooth is a bony, glowing-eyed sabertooth tiger, and by its odds it's the hardest pet in Steal an Egg to get. A creator who tested every divine called it "my favourite pet ever that they came out with. Look at how cool this is. It was designed so well. Look at the teeth and the glowing eyes." It also has one of the highest base values of any pet.

Where it comes from: the Extinction egg

The Skeletal Sabertooth comes only from the Extinction egg, a Robux egg. The odds stack:

  1. Open an Extinction egg. There's a 1% chance of a skeletal reroll.
  2. If you get the reroll, there's a 0.5% chance it's the Skeletal Sabertooth.

That's roughly 1 in 20,000 Extinction eggs on paper. "No matter which way you spin it, it's going to definitely cost you a crap ton of Robux."

The regular (non-skeletal) Sabertooth is also a divine in the same pool, at about $5B for an admin-gifted copy.

What 50 Extinction eggs actually gave

A Vietnamese creator with a discounted account bought 50 Extinction eggs to test their luck. The result: one red 1% egg that suddenly ballooned in size and hatched into a $2.9B pet, plus "mostly monkeys". About 2,700 Robux spent "for nothing", in their words. No skeletal reroll, no Sabertooth. That's what the odds look like in practice.

Income readings

Copy Income
Admin-gifted egg $11B (21B with 2x Money)
Admin-size, unmutated $12.8T
Admin-size, Scrambled $35T
Admin-size, Rainbow $45T

The admin-size numbers aren't reachable, but they show the Sabertooth's base value is enormous. In the same creator-panel session it posted bigger numbers than the Night Flame and the Archangel, though egg sizes in that test weren't perfectly matched. A normal-size Skeletal Sabertooth sits around $11B before mutations, which is already better than most divines' typical copies.

One creator imagined it with the upcoming ride update: "Imagine riding this… riding your skeletal sabertooth across the map."

Should you buy Extinction eggs?

Honest answer: no, not for the Sabertooth. With 1% × 0.5% odds you're far more likely to spend thousands of Robux on monkeys. Better uses of the same Robux:

  • the 2x Money pass, which doubles everything forever;
  • the speed multiplier ladder, which gets you to biomes with stealable divines;
  • Grow All on a pen of big eggs during a 2x size event.

If you have Robux to burn and enjoy gambling, open them during an Admin Abuse with 2x egg size, so the eggs you do get come out bigger.

Tier placement

S tier on numbers, with a big asterisk. If you own one, it's among the best pets in Steal an Egg. Nobody should plan their account around getting one.
