The pet at the top of Steal an Egg
The Spirit World Guardian is the highest-earning pet we've recorded in Steal an Egg: $2.2 trillion per second with Golden + Scrambled + Enchanted. That one pet earned about as much as the creator's entire main account. It looks like a regal lion with a dragon's long whiskers, glowing with forest light, and you can't steal it from anyone. You build it.
The recipe
The Guardian comes from a four-pet fusion inside the Enchanted Tree in the Enchanted Forest:
- 2× Royal Sky Whale: the Enchanted Forest divine.
- 2× Celestial Sun Lion: the Enchanted Forest eternal.
All four go on the fusion spots at the same time. The creator who documented it first tried two lions on their own, expecting a lion fusion, and nothing happened. Only when both whales were placed alongside did all four fuse together. The pets are consumed (the lions too, which surprised them: "so we lose two lions as a base as well") and you get a large egg. In their run the fused egg was already worth $792B before any new mutation was added.
What you need before you can try
- 50 billion speed to steal Enchanted Forest eggs at all.
- The Wisp quest finished. The tree door only opens after you return the Wisp. That means stealing 20 forest eggs, fusing a forest animal and stealing an eternal.
- Two whales. Divine spawns are random and every server competes for them. The documenting creator got their second whale from a family member's account, which is perfectly allowed.
- Two Sun Lions. These spawn more often, and they're usually small, which turns out not to matter much.
Whale vs lion: what decides quality
The most useful finding in the original video: the whale decides how good the Guardian is. The creator's lions were "pretty bad", yet the Guardian came out huge. Their conclusion: "it depends on how good your whale is. The lion isn't important." Their whale started at 11 million kg with Golden + Scrambled ($422B, $844B in the pen with 2x Money), and the Guardian landed at about 2 million kg but $2.2T.
So: spend your effort on the biggest, best-mutated whales you can get, and use whatever lions you have.
Mutations on the Guardian
The fused egg comes out without the new mutation, so you can mutate it before hatching:
- Enchanted Essence (100%) was applied first in the documented run.
- Golden and Scrambled carried through from the whales in that case. Whether they always carry over isn't confirmed yet.
- More mutations push it further. At our measured multipliers, adding Rainbow to a Golden + Scrambled + Enchanted Guardian would multiply it by another ~3.5x.
Hatch time
The fused egg has a long timer ("it'll take days" was the reaction). Plant it at dusk, consider Grow All if you have Robux, or just let it grow while you farm butterflies for the next Enchanted Essence.
Is it worth it?
If you can reach the Enchanted Forest, absolutely. Nothing else in Steal an Egg comes close. A single Guardian outearns entire endgame pens of divines. It's the reason every Royal Sky Whale spawn turns into a server-wide sprint.
If you're not there yet, the Guardian is your long-term goal: get to 50B speed, start the Wisp quest early so the tree is open by the time you have whales, and save Enchanted Essence.
Common questions
Can I use one whale and three lions? No. The documented fusion needed two of each, placed together.
Does lion size matter? Very little, from what we've seen. Small lions still produced a top-tier Guardian.
Can I trade for whales? Eggs can be gifted, so a friend or second account can provide the second whale.
Is the Guardian obtainable without the Enchanted Forest? No. Both ingredients and the fusion spot are there.
