The server-hopper's favourite
The Stag is a secret-rarity deer from the Cherry Blossom biome, and the pet most associated with server hopping in Steal an Egg. Secret Stag eggs spawn often and vary enormously in size, so players who want a big one reset servers over and over until a giant appears. When it works, it's one of the best mid-to-late-game secrets you can own.

The "fractured stag" at $20M is a good joke from the number one player's interview. It was the worst pet in her pen.
Hunting a giant Stag
A creator spent a long session server-resetting for big eggs, and Stags were the recurring jackpot:
- "Wait, a secret stag. Please be big… Ah, it's looking tiny." Most are small.
- After many hops: "This one's actually the biggest stag I've ever seen… 14 hours for a stag egg is crazy."
- When it finally hatched it made about $7B per second and pushed the account past $100B per second.
Tips from that run:
- Hop fast after a secret spawn message. Each server rolls its own egg, but the window is short. "It's already taken in this other server, too."
- Big stag eggs need a lot of speed. One player got lucky that a hacker in another server distracted everyone.
- Plant at night. A 14-hour timer is painful.
Fusing Stags
Because you'll collect many small Stags while hunting, the Fuse Machine is tempting. Three stags cost about $135B to fuse, and the results were mostly tiny ("Bro, it's tiny"), though one came out rainbow. Fuse only the small ones you'd sell anyway.
Stag vs other secrets
A giant Stag (~$7B) beats a Kraken or Yeti by a mile and is comparable to mid-size Gargoyles. Once you can farm Angels & Demons, Gargoyles and Razorfangs take over. We rank the Stag B tier: a strong mid-game secret with a lot of upside if you're willing to hop.

Why do Stags vary so much? Size. The same secret ranged from a $20M fractured copy to a ~$7B giant in our sources.
How many servers should I hop? As many as it takes. One session hopped for hours and found one giant. Stags spawn often, so the odds are on your side if you keep going.
Can I steal a giant Stag at 2.5B speed? It's hard. Giant eggs slow you down a lot, so bring a buffer, a speed flask, or use the drop trick.
