The best eternal in the game

The Celestial Sun Lion is the eternal of the Enchanted Forest, a golden, radiant lion. A divine hunter who stole one hours after the update called it "the best eternal in the entire game. I was expecting like a phoenix or something." On its own it's a solid billions-per-second pet, but its real value is as a key item: it finishes the Wisp quest and it's half of the Spirit World Guardian recipe.

Average $4.3B
Medium-small (lion to fuse) $8.8B
451,000 kg $15B

Sizes range absurdly, from 61 kg to 451,000 kg in a single player's checks. One creator rolled through several in a row hoping for a big one ("Come on bro, better than 61k… please give me 100k"). And one Vietnamese creator noticed something everyone seems to share: "every time one spawns, this Sun Lion is tiny." Big lions exist, but small ones are the norm.

Why you want several

1. The Wisp quest. The quest's last step is "steal any eternal". The Sun Lion is the forest's own eternal and the natural target. After you return the Wisp, the Enchanted Tree opens. A hunter who got a Sun Lion at exactly the right moment: "That's the eternal I get for the Wisp. That's amazing."

2. The Spirit World Guardian. Two Sun Lions plus two Royal Sky Whales, placed together in the tree, fuse into the Guardian, recorded at $2.2 trillion per second. The lions are consumed. Good news: lion size doesn't seem to matter much. The Vietnamese creator's "pretty bad" lions still produced a huge Guardian, because the whales decide the quality.

3. Lion fusions. Three lions in the Fuse Machine reroll into one egg, which is useful if your lions are tiny and you want one decent copy for your pen.

How to get it

It spawns in the Enchanted Forest (50B speed) and is announced like any eternal. The egg isn't usually heavy, so stealing one is easier than the biome's speed wall suggests. One player didn't even need extra speed: "Run. Run away. Nobody can catch me."

Lion vs other eternals

At an average of around $4.3B, the Sun Lion beats the Lunar Dragon, Oni Tiger and Pegasus averages, and matches Skeleton Horses and Gorilla Kings until those get huge. Factor in its quest and fusion uses and it's the most valuable eternal to own right now. We rank it A tier.

Sun Lion FAQ

Do I need big lions for the Guardian? No. Small lions worked fine in the documented fusion.

Is it worth hatching for income? Average lions make around $4.3B, so yes, until you have two whales ready to fuse.
