What happened on Saturday, October 31

The Halloween weekend ended with the biggest Admin Abuse the game has run so far. The headline was a live Jonas Brothers concert inside Steal an Egg, but the update also gave us a final Halloween push, a new Robux-only eternal egg, a pet slot upgrade and the first hints of the next big update: aliens.

Everything below comes from creator footage recorded on the day, so exact numbers can vary between servers. Where two videos disagree we say so.

The concert, step by step

The concert was announced for a fixed time, then pushed back twice while the developers fixed bugs (one creator's game even broke during a delay). Servers were also unstable for a while, with many players unable to join. Once it started:

  1. A ticket cutscene teleports you to a stage and the band comes down from above.
  2. The Pumpkin King shows up and locks the Jonas Brothers inside an egg.
  3. A rhythm mini game frees them. Click, tap or press the spacebar on the beat to break the chains. A broken streak just resets your chain, and the pace picks up quickly, so it is easier on PC than on a phone.
  4. Dancing scenes. You move through several stages with a song in each. The game gives you dance emotes and you can fly with wings while the concert runs. A portal in each scene moves you to the next song.
  5. An unfinished new track plays at the end, followed by a cheer meter: everyone clicks to charge cheers. Creators reported server-wide totals of 106 million and later 190 million cheers.

Many streamers muted the music to avoid takedowns, which is why some videos only show the dancing.

Concert rewards

Everyone who finished the concert received:

  • One Musical mutation consumable. The in-game panel showed 100% success when it was applied to an egg, which makes it one of the few guaranteed mutations. It turns the pet pale, almost white.
  • A Musical Ladybug, a free pet worth about 6 million per second. It is a collectible, not an income pet.
  • A guitar weapon. You can hit people with it and it plays a note each time. Players compared it to a basic pickaxe: fun, not a tier-list contender.
  • A Jonas Brothers treadmill in the admin area, showing about 14 million per step in one video and 28 million in another.

There were also server-wide gifts afterwards: a 10x admin treadmill (around 45 million per second for ten minutes) and a 3x money boost for ten minutes.

One creator put the Musical mutation on a Divine Unicorn that already had four other mutations. The result was 298 billion per second, compared with about 28 billion for the same unicorn before. Treat that as one data point on a heavily stacked pet, not a clean multiplier.

Halloween eggs and the Headless Horseman

Halloween was still running, so the final weekend was about candy corn. The developers first turned on 1.5x candy corn, then raised it to 2.5x for the whole weekend. The event ends Monday, November 2: the Halloween portal and candy corn disappear, although eggs you already bought stay in your inventory.

The reward at the end of the candy corn line is the divine Headless Horseman, claimed with 750,000 candy corn. It is small and a weak pick by the numbers, but it is a limited-time collectible with a great animation. Readings: 46 billion per second from an 8B-sized egg with one mutation, and 78 billion on a spectral enchanted version. Our full route to 750,000 is in the candy corn guide.

Other Halloween notes from the footage:

  • The Halloween index can be completed with two eternals, Phantom Ghost and Soul Phantom, from Halloween dimension eggs.
  • The Pumpkin Brute limited eternal returned to the pool, as a limited-time pet.
  • There is a hidden room in the Halloween house (aim with shift lock to enter) with a golden key. Nobody has found a use for it and the developers did not touch it in this update.

The Burning Hell egg and the pen upgrade

A new Eternal Exclusive egg, called Burning Hell in the shop, costs 800 Robux in most footage (one creator quoted close to 1,000). It leaves with the Halloween content and gives a bat-style pet at about 6.4 million per second. That is small next to the divines already in this wiki's pets list, so most players called it poor value. You can still put mutations on the egg.

The other store change is a pen upgrade from 19 to 20 equipped pets, costing 50 quadrillion in game money. It is a late-game purchase, but one extra slot is worth more than another small treadmill.

What the UFO teaser means

A new NPC named Paranoid Pete (the Alien Chaser) now stands in the world. He says nobody believes him, but his radar shows UFO activity and "they're coming soon". Creators noted three timers:

  • UFO arrival: Monday, November 2 at 5 PM in the in-game countdown (about 45 hours after the concert).
  • A new biome countdown at the edge of the Enchanted Forest: roughly six days from Saturday, so Saturday, November 7.
  • The biome text says the aliens have set their sights on stolen eggs and that strange activity is getting more frequent.

We don't know the biome's name, eggs or requirements yet. Save your trillions: new biomes have reliably paid out the biggest gains for whoever arrives first, as we saw with the Enchanted Forest update.

Takeaways

  • Finish the concert next time if you can: the Musical mutation is a free guaranteed 100% mutation.
  • Don't spend 800 Robux on the Burning Hell egg unless you collect limited pets.
  • If you have 750,000 candy corn, claim the Headless Horseman before Monday.
  • Keep a few Scrambled potions and a heavy egg ready for the alien biome on November 7.

We will update this post, the events page and the pets list when the UFO update lands.
